Callan’s host family shares their reasons for wanting to be part of the program
It has been a super enriching experience on many levels, as we have met a magnificent person and at the same time his customs and his country of origin. It's been great for the whole family, both those who speak English and those who don't. It has also been a very beautiful personal and family experience in every sense, since hosting, living, and sharing the experience has worked really well for everyone.

I have zero regrets joining this program and if I could I’d do it again! I would recommend this to anyone with a friendly attitude and an open mind. It is something you won’t regret and remember for the rest of your life. I would highly recommend this for someone who is looking to teach English abroad, as it gives you a real taste and experience of what it is like to teach English.

Ben (the Voluntary Speaker) is an incredible person, with a great desire to do everything that was proposed to him, and he has also been perfectly integrated into the dynamics of our family.
My general experience of the program has been amazing, I’ve loved every moment of it.
This experience has helped me to plan lessons and tailor them more specifically to certain age groups. Additionally, successfully integrating myself into an already functioning workplace was a very useful experience, let alone in a different country. I have absolutely 0 regrets, and I promise I’m not just saying that. I would 100% recommend this program to anyone thinking about teaching English abroad or even living abroad.

Embrace the Spanish lifestyle. It is a complete culture shock coming from Ireland to Spain we do nearly everything differently. But once you get over the initial shock just embrace it. They are so loving and want to show you everything that is great about Spain.
